"I’ll run my fingers over the leaves and tell them, “it’s okay. You can trust me. I will give you what you need.” GIRL😭. This got me. I'm so excited for these new stories you're sharing here. Can't wait to keep reading.

A wound which stimulates new growth, healthy growth, is worth the shock and pain in the end. Grafting also happens at a wound and Jesus is pruning us, but also grafting us into His likeness. Transformation and growth are difficult and painful, but needed to truly live. Thanks for the metaphor. Good stuff!

I love the life perspective found in tomato pruning. As a farmer, I have Tomato Tuesdays from May-October, I take sharpened snips and go to work until my fingers are a deep, dark green from suckering and clipping them up. In these hours I contemplate many things on the farm and in my own daily life, the catharsis is so very necessary and life giving to my heart & mind. 💚

I love that Jason! I’m going to be having a day per week as well from here on out. It’s so nice to get in the zone and think about what needs to stay and what can safely go. 💙
