In my previous post, you heard the story of how some things in my yard that I thought were weeds turned out to be wildflowers: but I don’t think this is only true of my yard. It’s true in life too. So I’d love to hear from you—what are some weeds of your life that turned out to be wildflowers? How has letting go of control in various parts of your life made way for unexpected beauty?
I know that relinquishing control has led to so much unexpected beauty in my life, but for some reason thinking of specific examples isn't really happening right now! As a sidenote, I've been recently fascinated (obsessed) with the little weeds/wildflowers that I'm spotting everywhere lately. I can't help but capture the glimpses in photos - they're just so beautiful! Like who decided to call these beauties weeds, anyway?
I feel the same way! I have these incredibly beautiful papery white blooms in my front yard right now and they are thistles, which I definitely would have called a weed, but now I'm not so sure...thank you so much for your comment! Don't worry this will definitely be a conversation we come back to in the future. I'd love to hear your stories if/when you think of them!
